TrustCon is one of our favourite conferences of the year, and we normally have several TrustCon speaking slots, so keep an eye out for our team!

It’s always a great place to network with other Trust and Safety leaders. TrustCon stands as the premier international gathering for professionals dedicated to maintaining Trust and Safety across digital platforms and communities.

TrustCon represents the realization of TSPA's ambition to establish and nurture a worldwide community of practitioners in the trust and safety sector. In TrustCon words, they aim to build a lasting, supportive network, providing workshops and talks centered on trust and safety practices.

Ex-Founder and CEO of Bloomsbury AI exited to Facebook, ex-manager of Facebook London AI Integrity, previously senior researcher at UCL and Xerox (PhD in Mathematics).

Alex is a seasoned Trust & Safety professional having started his career fighting Fraud at PayPal and misinformation at Facebook (now Meta). He then went on to head up the product management T&S functions at Vimeo and Wetransfer, where his focus is on scaling organizations to prepare against novel threats and shifting the company’s T&S approach from reactive to proactive.

Where can I buy tickets for TrustCon?

Tickets go on sale on the 2nd February 2024, and presale is available to TSPA members. Go to TSPA.org for more information. 

When are the conference dates and start / end times?

TrustCon is a 3-day conference, starting July 22 and ending July 24. On July 22, the conference will begin at 9 AM and close around 7 PM with a reception. On July 23 and 24, the conference will begin at 9 AM and end at around 5:00 PM PST. 

Where can I find the TrustCon speaker list?

Can I transfer my ticket to a colleague? 

According to the TSPA.org website:

“You can transfer your registration to someone else if all the following applies. 

  • The person you are transferring your ticket to qualifies for the same ticket type, price, and discount you purchased. For example, you registered as a TSPA member, and the person you are transferring your ticket to is also a TSPA member.
  • Discount codes are only valid for the intended recipient and are non-transferrable. 
  • You are requesting transfer before July 9, 2024. 

Email us with the name and email address of the person you would like to transfer your registration.”

Can I get a refund for my TrustCon ticket if I can't attend?

TrustCon registration tickets are fully refundable until July 9, 2024, after which no refunds will be allowed.

Can I share my Trustcon name badge with a colleague?

According to information on TSPA.org:

“Please note that sharing name badges at TrustCon is strictly prohibited. For safety reasons, we require that everyone at TrustCon be registered attendees. Per TSPA’s code of conduct anyone who attends our events is required to represent themselves authentically. Please do not share your name badge with a colleague or friend. “

    Airports

    San Francisco is easily accessible by all three of the Bay Area’s major airports. San Francisco (SFO) is about 14.5 miles from the hotel, Oakland (OAK) is about 20 miles from the hotel, and San Jose (SJC) is about 52 miles from the hotel.

    SFO and OAK are both served by BART (subway). There is a Bart stop (Embarcadero Station) 2 blocks from the hotel. Taxis, ride shares (such as Uber or Lyft) are also available.     Conference visitors can arrive at Oakland International Airport (OAK), which is 19.6 miles away from the hotel.

  • Does TSPA offer invitation letters to the attendees?

    According to the TSPA.org Website: 

    “Yes, please register first and email us to request an invitation letter. Note that for attendees, the letter will be a confirmation of your registration. If you are a speaker, the letter will indicate that you are speaking at the conference.”
