What type of content can be moderated?
All content formats can be scanned and moderated – Text, Image, Audio, Video, URLs and GIFs.

What kind of content moderation scanning technology is integrated?
All content formats can be scanned and moderated – text, image, audio, video, URL’s and GIF’s. We work with a selection of AI partners including OpenAI, Amazon Rekognition and Sightengine, to give you the best blend of content scanning models for every use case.

Can you offer human moderation resources?
Yes. We work with a number of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies covering both large-scale customer-service style moderation and more specialised community engagement. As we do not currently accept commission with our moderation partners, we can provide supplier agnostic consultancy to help find the right solution for your needs as necessary.

Do I need my tech team or engineers to be involved?
Checkstep does not store customer media and uses a concept of delegated access so that you provide Checkstep access to your data but Checkstep does not store it. Any moderation data held by Checkstep is stored in servers located in Ireland and encrypted in transit and at rest. Checkstep is certified by both the SOC2 and ISO 27001 security frameworks.
